How We Do It
Not all decaffeinated coffee was created equal, and most methods use solvents such as ethyl acetate. It can be almost impossible to tell how the caffeine was removed, which is why we at Mama Joe's use Swiss water processing to remove 99.99% of caffeine. This method uses activated charcoal to remove caffeine, so you can rest easy knowing your coffee is safe for you and your baby!
